Kevin Seabrooke is a self-taught artist living in Front Royal, Va.
I can't remember a time when I haven't mentally framed the world around me as a photo or a drawing and, much later, a painting. I'm always looking for patterns and shapes, sometimes becoming intoxicated by the light. Much of my work comes from pulling over on rural roads and running to capture views I had to paint.
