Dora Patin was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary. She lived in Austria for several years before moving to the United States in 2005. She loved to draw from a young age, but circumstances took her on a different path. However, in 2017 she returned to her lifelong interest in art and enrolled in The Compass Atelier’s 3-year Master Artist Program. Since finishing the program in 2020 she has won several awards including ‘Best In Show’ at the 2022 Kensington Paint The Town Show and at the 2024 Annual Strathmore juried Exhibition “Prism”. Her work is exhibited in shows throughout the DMV area and she is a returning artists at the New York City Affordable Art Fair.
