Terri Nicholson

Terri Nicholson is a self-taught artist, specializing in oils, acrylics and watercolors.  Her first painting was sold and took 2nd place in 1977 at the age of 18, fueling her life long career in fine art.  While a majority of her work is on canvas, she began a second career in faux finishing after taking courses at the Faux Finish Institute in Omaha, Nebraska under the instruction of Kelly S. King.  Her wall finishes and murals can be seen in a plethora of private residences and businesses, including Winchester Medical Center.  In addition to her painting and commission work, Terri also was an art instructor for Michaels for 9 1/2 years under the sponsorship of Grumbacher/Chartpak, instructing the fine art of acrylic painting.  Terri continues to exhibit in various shows throughout the years, and was in the very first Art at the Mill Show.
