Trisha Adams

Trisha was born in California, but has lived in Virginia most of her life. She graduated from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri with a year's honor study at Oxford. She was editor of the college yearbook which led to her interest in graphic design. Eventually, she opened a graphic design business in 1985. In 1990, she sold the business and took a position at a color printing company where she established their electronic pre-press department and a retail service bureau.

Trisha began painting in 2001 at age 44. She studied at the Loudoun Academy of the Arts in Leesburg, VA and was the director of the school before painting full-time in 2004. Trisha's paintings are in prominent collections, including the Virginia State Senate, the lobby of the Ritz Carlton in Tysons, and on the set of Madam Secretary. She is a member of the 100-year-old Washington Society of Landscape Painters and American Women Artists. Trisha has taught international painting workshops in Tuscany, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and Australia. She is leading a workshop to paint the lavender in Provence in June 2024.
