Originally from Syracuse, N.Y., Bonnie moved to Winchester, Virginia with her family in 1999. Collecting art as her family moved around inspired her to take her first painting class. Bonnie fell in love with oil painting after her first class 15 years ago. She is self-taught, taking many classes and workshops over the years. Bonnie’s inspiration comes from the beauty of her surroundings. Her subjects mainly include still life and landscapes. She paints landscapes both from photographs as well as plein air painting in Virginia and Maine. Her art has been featured on banners on the Winchester Downtown walking mall. Her art has also been shown at the Waterford Festival Art Show, The Belle Grove art show, as well as the juried art show: "Art at the Mill" in Millwood, VA.
