Katie Kwiatkowski is an artist and art educator living in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Through her mixed media artwork and collaged paintings, she explores a variety of subject matter that most often includes imagery of animals, landscapes, and meditative themes. There is an emphasis in her work on color, texture, and pattern. Each work is carefully crafted through alternated layers of painted paper, acrylic, and mark-making.
