Kristyne Torruella, born in Hawaii. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Art (sculpture) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and married her sweetheart there. They have 4 grown children, all born in various locations around the world due to her husband's role in the Navy. Living in these places has greatly influenced her world view and include Japan, Germany, Italy, Connecticut, and San Diego, as well as a mission to Ecuador on her own before she was married. She currently enjoys sculpting in Alabaster, as well as painting in oils, which she learned while living in Naples, Italy.
