Claire Bentley retired in 2007 from teaching and began watercolor classes at the Workhouse Art Center. That began her love of watercolor and many experiences with classes, workshops, outings, and overseas travel. Acrylics and mixed media are also used, although watercolor is still her preferred medium. Claire is a member of the Springfield Art Guild, Virginia Watercolor Society, and exhibits at the Loft Gallery in Occoquan, VA. She has participated in numerous Northern Virginia art exhibits.
