Lilia Burrows

Lily Ramos-Burrows, who resides in West Virginia , is  from the Philippines. She spent her adulthood in Australia, New Zealand and now the United States. 

She considers painting an inspiration, a challenge and creative diversion from her work as a Registered Nurse.

Her medium is mainly acrylic paint, however, she also ventured into oil and pastel. Her paintings feature her love of vibrant colors. Inspired by her travels around the world, many of her work feature land and seascapes , botanical / wildlife subjects , and abstracts.

She is a member of the Valley Art Association, Hagerstown, MD . She participated with the following art shows- Art at the Mill, Clarke County, Va; The Shepherdstown PRAG Art Show, WV ; Ice House, Berkeley Springs, WV ; Berkeley County Arts Council, Martinsburg, WV; The Meritus Hospital art exhibit in support of the hospital auxiliary fund for patients. 

She views painting as a therapeutic medium for the mind, body and soul, and encourages anyone to explore their creativity for enhancement of their well being.
