Laurie Mang is a member of the Northern Virginia art community for the last two years. She is a painter of still life’s, landscapes, and abstracts primarily working in oils and watercolor. Her joy is creating a work of art for the visual enjoyment of others by using rich colors, contrasts, and interesting compositions. Creation's glory has inspired Laurie to memorialize a moment in time-whether winter, spring, summer, fall-on canvas for the pleasure and consideration of the observer. She was a recent resident artist at Creative Brush Studio and Gallery, and a mentee of award winning, Christine R. Raymond. Her art has been displayed and sold in seasonal gallery shows. She resides in Prince William County with her husband Michael.
