Cecilia Capestany is a Virginia-based watercolorist whose paintings feature a wide range of subjects from the natural world to still life. Following a career in the international field, she studied drawing and watercolor. Her many travels across Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, and her enthusiasm for nature, inspire her artwork, which has been juried in many exhibits. Cecilia’s most recent body of work incorporates portraits of birds from across the world, including her own backyard. Cecilia is a Signature Member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and also belongs to the Potomac Valley Watercolorists and the Art League of Alexandria.
