Originally from Virginia, Jayne migrated north to New England for work in the theatre, and as Caretaker for a 5 story, historic building. After 30 years of this work, Jayne began to pursue a long subdued desire to paint. She was fortunate to meet and study with Dennis Cheaney, at the New England Realist Center for one year. Currently, Jayne is working with, and learning from Dr. Stuart Dunkel , a realist painter at the Nautilus School of Realist Art in Massachusetts.
