Shona D'Cruz does not remember a time she didn't create art. As a child growing up in India, Shona has vivid memories of cobbling up arts and crafts as gifts for friends. This set the stage for a world of artistic exploration in her elementary school years and an event decor business in her teens. Currently, she is a mother, teacher and artist, and owner of Blue Hyacinth Mosaics, LLC. Shona creates one-of-a-kind jewelry including micromosaics, as well as mosaic and fused glass fine art and home decor. Shona’s work is constantly changing and evolving. Her most recent art features pollinators and flowers, subjects close to her heart. Shona was awarded artist residencies, participates in many local art shows and has shown and sold work at local art exhibits, including a solo show.
