Larry is a resident of Frederick County and has been an active member of the Shenandoah Arts Council since 2013. Larry received his degree in advertising design from Layton School of Art in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He worked in the advertising field as art and creative director in Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Washington, DC.
Over six decades and throughout his career, Larry has been an award-winning painter in the fine arts field. His work has been published in magazines, catalogues, greeting cards, banners and calendars. His paintings have been exhibited in many shows and galleries.
Larry is also a passionate photographer whose images have been represented by stock photo companies in New York City and Richmond, Virginia. His photos have also been published and won many awards. The Shenandoah Photographic Society in 2017 voted Larry, “Photographer of the Year” in the Color, Monochromatic and Enhanced categories.
Larry has written and published two children’s books, both were awarded five stars in 2015 by Readers’ Favorite International Book Award Contest.
