Ann Lesciotto

Ann’s art reflects her love of nature. She focused on botanical art when she began taking classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden, earning her certificate of merit in Botanical Art in 2009. She generally works in watercolor, graphite or carbon dust for botanical subjects, and pastel or oil for landscapes. While most of her work is done in the studio, she enjoys working outside when the weather cooperates. She is currently a member of the Botanical Art Society of the National Capital Region (BASNCR) and the American Society of Botanical Art (ASBA), and was a founding member of the Reed-Turner Woodland Botanical Artists’ Circle.
