Rudolph Mason Jr started painting and drawing from a very young age. He paints in rich colors and a variety of subjects, from abstract to landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes and figurative works. His art reflect many of the places he has visited and travelled. Born and raised in Tifton, Georgia, USA, Rudolph has travelled throughout Asia, Europe and Middle East. He lived overseas for many years in Japan, Italy and Australia while serving in the U.S. Navy. Rudolph continues to travel and enjoy meeting people and experiencing different cultures. Although he works primarily in oil painting, he also draws and has produced numerous works in charcoal and graphite. Rudolph is also an avid photographer and has been for most of his life. He enjoys taking photos and often with traditional film camera, with black and white film. His photos include stunning landscape and people photography.
Rudolph has exhibited his art at numerous venues, art galleries and expeditions in Virginia, New York, and Washington D.C. He lives and works in northern Virginia.
