Vicki Vidal Blum

Vicki Vidal Blum is an artist from Clifton, Virginia, whose passion is painting flowers and other still life objects in oils. "I enjoy expressing the vibrancy of my subjects through intense color while maintaining the tradition of realism. I call my style 'saturated realism.' Vicki paints from life, which is the best way to capture the rich colors of nature. "My painting exaggerate pure colors, which the eye often overlooks. By saturating the color, the subjects appear more alive."

Vicki was a winner in the Portrait Society of America's 2016 and 2021 Members Only Competition for Still Life; a finalist in the International Artist's 2013 Still Life Challenge. She was a featured artist in the Susan K. Black "Blossom II" Competition and was selected for the exhibit's museum tour across the country. She was also selected for NYC's Salmagundi Club's Annual Non-member show and Greenhouse Gallery's Salon International Competition.
