An award winning artist with a deep appreciation of the natural world, Judith McKellar instills a sense of intimacy with the subjects of her work. A lifetime of owning ,raising and studying animals has afforded her the opportunity for quiet observation of them and their surroundings: the rolling landscape of Virginia's Piedmont has inspired a multitude of colorful local landscapes. A native of Virginia her concentration has been in oil painting, primarily landscapes ,equine art and animal portraiture. Judith received her Bachelor of fine Art degree from the University of Arizona and attended the Corcoran School of Art as well. Her work has garnered best in show awards in both regional and national shows and exhibits
