Christy Dunkle has lived in Clarke County, Virginia since 2001. She began making mosaics in 2021 after studying under Rachel Davies and Kelley Knickerbocker. Her mosaics have been featured in art shows and in a variety of venues including Higher Art Gallery (Traverse City, MI), Maryland Federation of Art (Annapolis, MD) and Main Street Arts (Clifton Springs, NY). She also sells jewelry and mosaics in local and regional shops and galleries in Berryville, VA; Alexandria, VA; and Wardensville, WV. Ms. Dunkle earned a Bachelor of Visual Arts, summa cum laude, from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado at Denver.
